Last night, Itzl took Xoco out for barbecue at his favorite barbecue place: Oklahoma Station Barbecue.
Here they are, all dressed up and in the car seat, ready to go. It was chilly last night, so I lined their car seat with a fuzzy blanket.
Xoco chose to wear her XOX orange sun dress, in anticipation of warmer weather. Itzl didn't want to wear his coveralls, and chose to wear his bone hoodie instead, so they both looked like they were fresh out of the 'hood on a hot date.
Even though Xoco is also a service dog, she's not very well socialized, so I dropped her off at a special baby sitter (MeiMei, a gray tabby - pooties make such good babysitters!) nearby for a few minutes.
Itzl went in and ordered a half pound of sliced brisket and a puppy pail.
He checks out the puppy pail to make sure it's suitable for snacking the rest of the week.
Xoco gives the puppy pail her full approval.
They eat their sliced brisket (not the whole half pound all at once!) and then pose beside their trophy puppy pail. They get distracted by a timer beep, so I caught them both alerting instead of looking at the camera for their photo op.
Then the fat little dogs waddled off to bed to sleep their dinner away and dream of that puppy pail, waiting for them in the freezer.
