Back in June I wrote a diary called Maude and Me. The responses were mostly from
Vet advocates. The information and detail was heartbreaking and things in 2012 are not better, but appearing worse regarding the delay of claims, appointments and who knows how bad the former administration regarding oversight and no telling how long it will take We the People to try and make the blind see. There are some major info that has been researched since this diary was published and I hope more will see it and inform people that the 1 percent of Corporations like Dow and Monsanto are still not being held to full accountability. I feel that the online services have taken the personal care away and only sped up the We have denied your claim process. We need thsoe phones manned. We need truth brought to light. We need people like
Maude DeVictor taken off the Homeland Security Watchlist. We need to shine a light on our hurting veterans. These vets who speak could be my husband, or Swamyankie's
late husband, or llbear or Wayward Wind's story of his late son, or DaNang, or Gordon,
or BOHICA.
The sad part is now I believe MONSANTO and Dow and the MIC did more damage with that mess at Ft. McClellan in Anniston, Alabama. Our family was only 48 miles east of Anniston and so was whatgodmade when she was pregnant. Here is the diary and the uupdates including an interview from Maude DeVictor on 6 Degrees Radio.
Information regarding the WMD's that were being stored in Anniston and the burning of these WMD's in a small town. We need to be angry. We need to all stand together and we need to do it. I am tired of the Tea Party Crowd wanting their country back when they ignore what all that entails. We need to have and strive for a more perfect union and to treat our veterans with the dignity they deserve. They who borne the battle are fighting to just survive and so are their families. This should be one of the biggest issues of this time. Jobs? There are plenty of jobs to be had at all the VA's across America. We need people and oversight and forget this automated crap everywhere.
We need to clean this country and image up but it will take us taking on The Monsanto's and the Dow and God bless the Occupy Movement. (If they can stay together long enough without so much intrusion from outsiders). The one percent and the Military Industrial Complex is what has shredded this country. The Puritans and the
social issues of their hypocrisy about sex is mind boggling when we have bigger problems. Our families our sick and dying. We can be better than this.
Jump below the fold and see the diary and recap incuding a link to Maude DeVictor being interviwed in 08 and the truth she tells and abuse she suffered for telling it.
I am just one person but there are a lot of us one persons on here. Collectively we can make a difference but only if we engage. Only if we hear the stories and stand in
soladarity. I warn anyone wanting to post on this diary, I will not put up with discounting our military men and women or veterans so if you come to this post to do that ..keep surfing...I don't want to hear the nonsense of bashing vets. Otherwise please comment and spread the word.
My husband is still in the hospital ..thanks for your well wishes.
Want to know what is really bad. Eight months since this diary was written and the same problems exists...as I was going through then only they have gotten worse. No increase, more mobility issues, and basically little treatment and mistreatment.
Word for word, the mobility, the trying to figure how the problems, the whole darn thing.

I am guessing that many of you may not have heard of Maude DeVictor.
She is one awesome lady. I want to tell you a little about agent orange, Maude, and the effect both have had on me. I was wading in the waters of advocacy when I
found myself neck deep in the effects of agent orange affecting so many of our Vietnam Veterans. In the year 2000, when I started forming our little vet organization, I saw a movie called Unnatural Causes....The Maude DeVictor story. The movie stuck
in my head and my husband suggested I give her a call. I thought, "I wonder if she is
still alive or what happened to her or if her phone was unlisted but I knew from the movie that she lived in Chicago. Maude became an advocate and whistleblower that
basically connected the dots of agent orange exposure, the herbicide used in the jungles of Vietnam and affected our soldiers who had served and the people of Vietnam. She was a veteran and worked for the Chicago Veterans Hospital.

I called 411 and got a Maude DeVictor's phone number and was pleasantly surprised to hear "Hello" and yes I am one and the same who was protrayed in the movie, I found out so very much that day in May and how dirty the system can get when they get caught doing what America did to our soldiers. Maude no longer had a job at the VA. She had been blackballed. Maude was a nurse and a Navy vet and a Breast cancer survivor.

Taken from my site...United Veterans was an article I wrote and gathered from VVAW.
Some of the article was taken from VVAW and sums up the Godmother of discovery of the exposure of agent orange to our soldiers serving in Vietnam. The lady who tied the poison and illnesses of the exposure was
a VA worker named Maude DeVictor from Chicago. The movie Unnatural Causes was a hit depicting this discovery and the work of Devictor. The movie won an emmy. The true hero was not only a villan to the
government and was fired from the VA but never received her monies from the movie. How do I know this?
I spoke to Maude Devictor in the year 2000 via phone and what a nice lady she was.
