Here's a game: see if you can spot Itzl in the picture below. I told him he could run as far and fast as he wanted, and he took off. He really is in this picture, but you have to look really close.
I'll admit, if I didn't know where he was, I wouldn't be able to spot him. Even knowing where he is, I have trouble making him out in the picture.
So, just so you can see him, I included a picture of him alerting me on on bird calls - it was a totally new bird and he didn't recognize the call. Note how his whole body is straining towards the sound without moving? That's his signal for "It's new but not threatening, can I go look up close?" The bird in question flew off before either of us could identify it.

His little leg still looks so bare and the hair is growing in a lighter color so he'll probably always be marked for that surgery.
