It is important to repeat over and over at at least two major themes about Mitt Romney: (1) he is wealthy, out of touch, made his money destroying jobs and just does not understand or care about people like you and (2) he has no core, takes every position on every issue, just is not honest, Mr. Etch-A-Sketch. Both go to who Romney is and they say he is not a good person like you or me. For all the focus on issues, many people vote on who they trust/like. Such voters are not necessarily irrational, for many issues arise over a presidency and voting for a decent person does matter. Many of us here focus on issues a lot, but many folks who are less engaged only peripherly focus on issues.
Romney's non-likeable numbers are bouncing at 50% according to many polls and his likeable numbers 15-20% below that. Let's keep them there. In contrast, Obama has more like than dislike in the recent polls.
The first theme probably has more resonance long term, but the second is useful. Thus, Arlen Spector's comment today helps, as does Etch-A-Sketch.
And on MSNBC this morning, former Sen. Arlen Specter, on a promotional tour, said of the GOP presidential frontrunner, "Mitt Romney changes positions more often than a pornographic movie queen."

It is funny.

Just a flip/flop hurt John Kerry, Etch-A-Sketch, and all the other metaphors to describe Romney's conflicting positions over his career on so many issues will matter with some. So spread the word:
"Mitt Romney changes positions more often than a pornographic movie queen [or king]."
Let's not be sexist on this. :-)
