The biggest April Fool of all is Art Robinson.

Biggest Fool of January through December, in fact. Art is "scientist" who denies climate change, evolution, HIV/AIDS, and, for all I know, isn't convinced about Galileo.
Art would abolish all public schools, and put radioactive waste in our drinking water, too.

Of course, he is a Republican.

But now, it seems, his son has morphed into a Democrat.

Some of you already know Art Robinson. He has challenged Congressman Peter DeFazio (OR-4) before. Art Robinson is backed by big money from Wall Street, because Peter DeFazio wants to put a teeny-tiny transaction tax on the banksters and fraudsters. Robert Mercer (the billionaire who plays with model trains, mostly) is a super-special moneybuddy of Art's.

I've written about Art on these pages before. So has Troutfishing. (Troutfishing's diary is about racism. Art is, I believe, a racist, and a misogynist; Art will deny this, of course, even if he does write that women and blacks don't want to work and study as hard as some, uh, other people do.(“Severe, difficult, total-immersion training in science” is “an experience few women or blacks desire.” Access to Energy.))

It appears that Matthew Robinson is a little nut that did not fall far from the tree.

Anyway, you could help Peter DeFazio beat these nutjobs. Send Peter a little love.

You could visit Art Robinson's Facebook page, too. He'd like that.

Oregon is famous for nuts. Take our survey.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
