If this has been covered already, I'm happy to delete this diary. I don't shock easily, but either PPP is totally fecked on this one, or Mizz Maggie needs to start seriously cranking out those resumes. From their numbers released earlier today:
A majority of Coloradans are actually willing to take it a step further and just legalize gay marriage. 53% of voters in the state think gay marriage should be legal to only 40% who believe it should be illegal.
Are Colorado independents somehow more libertarian than other states? Given that there are more Republicans than Dems by registration there, it's tough to believe they'd skew in favor by almost a 2:1 margin. Is there some explainable reason why indies there are overwhelmingly in favor, more than almost anywhere else? Or do these numbers from the home state of Focus on the Family mean that mini-DOMAs elsewhere are in danger of collapse? Colorado would be a much bigger "get" than New York (to borrow Maggie's term) in terms of a (near) fatal blow to the NOMmy Mommy.
Apologies, but linking seems down.
