Some idiocy just has to be seen to be believed. In this case it's comes from a Miami-Date Fire Captain Brian Breckman
I am my coworkers could rewrite the book on whether our urban youths are the victims of racits profiling or products of their failed, shitbag, ignorant, pathetic, welfare dependent excuses for parents.
For the record, neither of Trayvon Martin's parents are on welfare. His father is a Truck Driver and his mother is program coordinator at the Miami-Dade Housing Authority.
Talk about a classic case of projection.
It's not that people have a tendency to jump to a wrong conclusion - which may be true about a small minority within the larger minority - but is never true about everyone. Which is the definition of prejudice and confirmation bias, it's the fact that the worst case scenario of a poor, black, hooded child of lazy welfare parents is ever true.
And therefore anyone else who might "fit the description" is somehow responsible for it and has to suffer for it.
Gee, how would it feel for every overweight middle-aged baldling white fireman if every time they ran into a black person, that person just automatically assume that were a raging frack-tard racist asshole like Brian Beckman?
Wouldn't seem fair would it?
Well, everyones entitled to their opinion now aren't they? Even Captain Brian Beckman, is entitled to think what ever he want to think, regardless of the facts in Trayvon's case or the case of any other black youth he might come across.
I'll be honest, I see black kids here in the streets of South Central that frankly piss me the fuck off with their bullshit. I mean, they're all decked out in their Ed Hardy Douche-Wear, they seem to worship the idea of having someone elses name or logo on their clothes. They've all got to have the latest Nike Jordan's, they're completely focused on material possessions and money.
Just like you average 1% wingnut is focus on acquiring, but not creating.
But then, you still can't tell which, if any, of them might or might not have parents on welfare just by looking, or that they might be "dangerous". You can't tell by looking, you have to judge people by their actions..
I'm just sayin'
