The Oregon Tea Party has just announced that serial fraudster James O'Keefe spent two days with the Oregon Bus Project, a non-profit does voter reg and that gets kids involved with politics. Jefferson Smith, founder of the Bus Proect is a 2-term state legislator now in a race for mayor of Portland. From a comment on a Blue Oregon blog post About Smith:
Harvard educated Jefferson Smith and his Bus Project are the darlings of the Portland Progressive community. But it appears that he was not smart enough to recognize national citizen journalist James O'Keefe as he and his hidden cameras boarded the Bus Project for two whole days this past year.
Now that Jefferson Smith is a front runner in the race to be Portland's next Mayor, it appears that he is poised to fall like an ACORN in the soon to be released Bus Project scandal involving major improprieties with minors directly involving Smith.

More smelly shoes to drop soon, I suspect. At least they've identified Jefferson as the most progressive candidate. That'll be good in Portland. While its a non-partisan race, there are no republicans running. We have 3 good democrats, 2 19-year olds, and a terrific kid from Occupy Portland running. And a couple of crazies, just for fun. We are blessed.
