Members of Occupy L.A. joined the immigration rights march on May 1st, 2012. The group has reorganized in the five months since their eviction from the grounds of city hall and once again takes to the streets of downtown Los Angeles. The group numbered over 1,000 and briefly shut down the financial district before heading to Pershing Square for a concert and general assembly. This was the biggest gathering since their encampment was removed by the LAPD and the impressive showing seems to indicate that at least the Los Angeles faction of the movement is not going away.
