Minnesota State Patrol and Department of Public Safety, plus rural Sheriffs' Departments target OccupyMinneapolis at Peavey Plaza with illicit drug use offers: This is an outrage:
MK Occupy Minnesota: Drugs & the DRE Program at Peavey Plaza
Law enforcement spent days leading up to MayDay picking up and dropping off intoxicated persons at the Occupy Minneapolis encampment at Peavey Plaza, offering them illegal drugs and a safe place to use.
Despite the presence of Occupy activists challenging them with cameras, the persisted and even "cancelled tests" using cameras as a reason and to start conversations about Occupy, then pumped participants for information about the movement, its plans, its leaders, etc. Perhaps DRE was employed in this place and time as a pretext to conduct a likely illegal, civil rights violating campaign against a legal protest.
Please watch and share this video, and if you have any help or advice for bringing a federal civil rights investigation against Minneapolis, Hennepin County and the State of Minnesota for this and other abuses against protestors and activists with the Occupy Wall Street movement, the time is now...
