Relax, I just need your itchy "send" fingers. Won't you help me?

Colorado had its March Against the War on Women. We had a great turnout from all over the state. I put together a photo diary here.

I created a tongue in cheek response to the war on women with a flash mob. The video has received over 1200 hits in 24 hours. My hope is that it will go viral.

I need my fellow Kossacks help. I need you to watch this, email it, Facebook it, Tweet it, Tumblr it, get it out into cyber land as far and as wide as you can.

You can see by my history here that I rarely write diaries at all, because I find that I rarely have anything wonderful to contribute. I hope this is something worth watching and passing along.

To those that seek to control women's reproductive healthcare decisions, while they abandon the children we bear.

This is my contribution to the fight against the war on women. I had no idea how hard this would be, but I put my furor to work putting together a flash mob.

I thought, flash mob. It looks so fun, and entertaining, and the possibilities are far greater than the one moment of performance. It can be taped and edited to be a good performance art piece.

It can live beyond the moment by going viral.

I knew the song I wanted to use. Every Sperm Is Sacred. Sounds easy, but it did not have the message I wanted to use. So I revised the lyrics to be inclusive of all faiths, and instead, to focus on the legislators that are effecting our lives so profoundly.

Please indulge me and watch it. If you like it, I am asking that you email it, Facebook it, Twitter it, Tumblr it (whatever that is exactly) and generally help me make it go viral.

In the meantime....

This is the blurb that is included on the youTube page.

I am so excited because I have video of a little protest in front of the Capitol building in Colorado. It is wonderful to know that we have legislators making sure that all our potential children are born into this world no matter what happens to them afterwards. I am proud to know, that although they used to be thought of as "the fringe", they are now in legislatures all over the United States. But I would like to take this one step further.
I mean Eve took the first bite of the fruit of knowledge, but she was naive and Adam was supposed to know better. He was tempted by her. Men are tempted by women and they just can't help themselves. So, we need to monitor the comings and goings of man's most precious bodily fluids.
Face it girls, we are just the "nest" so to speak and men have the "swimmers". They are the ones to start life. If we can track them, then we wouldn't have so many good men go off track. I'll bet Newt Gingrich and John Edwards would not be in the situation they are in if they had been monitored by the government. We want to make sure all children are wanted and born into the union of two people, one of which (the woman) stays home to care for them. Then we would have a lot less children of unknown heritage walking around and maybe less criminals too.
Just my two cents, take it or leave it.
If you want to organize your own flash mob, or use the music, please feel free to go to my website or to my Facebook Page.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
