The Republican Party of Greene County, Virginia--north of Charlottesville--went off the deep end in its March newsletter. It contains a column by editor Ponch McPhee which calls for getting Obama out of office as soon as possible if he's reelected in November. Nope, not by finding a reason to impeach him. McPhee wants Obama overthrown by a coup d'etat.
In the coming days and weeks ~ we the people must come to grasp as a common force, our very soul’s, that our future as a sovereign nation is indeed at risk. The newsletter claims a disclaimer saying the views expressed are only those of the writers. But come on--we're talking about the editor of the county party's official mouthpiece here. I looked around to find a statement from the party distancing itself from this rhetoric. Zippo.
If every single individual that you know, would contact 25 other individuals ~ we can make a difference that will be heard across the Commonwealth and in Washington.
The ultimate task for the people is to remain vigilant and aware ~ that the government, their government is out of control, and this moment, this opportunity, must not be forsaken, must not escape us, for we shall not have any coarse but armed revolution should we fail with the power of the vote in November ~ This Republic cannot survive for 4 more years underneath this political socialist ideologue.
It turns out that McPhee hosts a conservative talk show, "Freedom Watch," on WTJU in Charlottesville on Saturday morning. Drop station manager Nathan Moore a line at email@example.com.
