People are saying that the Mitt's Anti-Gay Prep School Assault on a fellow student 48 years ago doesn't really matter today.
“He can’t look like that. That’s wrong. Just look at him!” an incensed Romney told Matthew Friedemann, his close friend in the Stevens Hall dorm, according to Friedemann’s recollection. Mitt, the teenage son of Michigan Gov. George Romney, kept complaining about Lauber’s look, Friedemann recalled.
A few days later, Friedemann entered Stevens Hall off the school’s collegiate quad to find Romney marching out of his own room ahead of a prep school posse shouting about their plan to cut Lauber’s hair. Friedemann followed them to a nearby room where they came upon Lauber, tackled him and pinned him to the ground. As Lauber, his eyes filling with tears, screamed for help, Romney repeatedly clipped his hair with a pair of scissors.
That's not the kind of person he is now.
Really?
Well it may seem like it only because he's got people now to do any muscle work for him. Human Car Elevators if you will. Usually.
Let me just remind you that Mittance assaulted someone just a couple le years ago, on a Jet Blue flight returning from the Montreal Olympics when that person had the temerity to Lean his seat back to take a nap before take off.
"He grabs my shoulder .. and I just react BOOM (does shoving motion to swat Romney's hand away) get off me!" Blu told the video camera. "He put a condor grip on me. What am I supposed to do?"
"That's like a Vulcan grip," offered his bandmate Redfoo.
"Like a Vulcan grip," Blu concurred. "I'm not your prey. I'm not a salmon going upstream. You're not going to grip me up."
Blu, clad in his underwear while telling the story in a hotel room, went on to say that during the maelstrom Romney's wife screamed, he (Blu) threw in a few cuss words and that the cops didn't buy his version of the incident.
"The man assaulted me. I was protecting myself," he said.
There's a lot of things Romney could have done in that situation. He could have called a flight attendant and had them deal with it. He could have asked nicely. In fact, the person whose shoulder he grabbed, Sky Blu of the Party Rapgroup LMFAO, told him he'd pull up the seat if he asked nicely - but Mitt didn't.
...the incident started Sky Blu put his jacket over his head and attempt to go to sleep. The seat was too upright so he reclined it. Since they were still on the Tarmac he heard a loud booming voice behind him shout "SIR, PUT YOUR SEAT UP!"
He pulled the jacket off and looked around at him as the man shouted even louder "SIR, PUT YOUR SEAT UP!" - and Blu was like "Are you for real? I will if you ask nicely..." and then Romney grabbed him on the shoulder.
Lauber wasn't following the strict "Rules" of men hair fashion so Romney took it upon himself to physically
set him straight 48 years ago.
Two years ago he did the same exact thing with Sky Blu.
They even wrote a song about it.
LMFAO, America’s princes of party rock, wrote one of their shot-swilling anthems about a 2010 encounter with GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney that devolved into a shoving match. In an interview with Allison Stewart in Sunday Style, RedFoo said that the song “We Came Here to Party” is inspired by his bandmate Sky Blu’s skirmish with Romney after Blu reclined his chair too far into Romney’s space on a Jet Blue flight.
This is not the behavior of a well adjusted individual. Here's another example even though it doesn't get physical, it is startlingly intense when Romney wheels around and begins to verbally assault an Occupy Supporter who dares to ask him a question about protecting the 99%.
Romney: Lemme tell ya something. America is a great nation, because we’re a united nation and those who are trying to divide the nation as you’re trying to do here and as the president is doing are hurting this country, seriously. The right course for America is not to divide America, and try and divide us between one and another, it’s for us to come together as a nation. And if you’ve got a better model, if you think China is better, or Russia is better, or Cuba’s better, or North Korea’s better, I’m glad to hear all about it. But you know what? America’s right, and you’re wrong!
Yeah, you tell 'em Fire Marshall Bill. If you don't like America's rich continuing to Rape and Pillage the Poor - well you can just go to CUBA or North Korea where they, uh, don't - um - do that.
Yeah, he doesn't sound at all like someone from the 60's who would tell a Vietnam protestor "America Love it or Leave It" - he doesn't sound anything like someone who would grab a long-haired hippie, hold him down and shave his head.
And this guy wants to be Leader of the Free World? I mean, the entire Free World?
Bojemoi!
