Character matters. It matters particularly when an unattractive character trait first manifested in adolescence continues to manifest itself into adulthood and late middle-age. In Romney's case, the trait is bullying. Even if, as he claims, he didn't know the boys he bullied and harrassed were gay or closeted, did he have any justification, much less right, to behave as he did? His career choice involved depriving thousands of Americans of employment, something he claims to enjoy even today. And then he compounds the problem by trying to lie about it, as he lies about so many things. If, as he says, he can't recall either of the incidents from his days at Cranbrook, how does he remember that he didn't know or believe that either of the boys was gay or closeted? He's lying.
This man is unfit to be President.
