The article goes on to quote experts who say that this is a wonderful thing, except for the facts that the Hispanic immigrants are uneducated and do not vote Democrat often enough.
It is not a good thing. The immigrants do not share American values, so it is a good bet that they will not be voting Republican when they start voting in large numbers.
Am I the only one who looks at this and thinks back to the 19th century? And this isn't some yayhoo talking--this is the son of one of the founding mothers of the modern conservative movement.
Schlafly manages to combine two smears into one. Besides a healthy dose of xenophobia, he also claims that if you vote for a Democrat, you don't share "American values." Um, Roger? So lying us into a war is American? Or waterboarding?
Even by the Schlaflys' standards, this is pretty staggering. At least they're being honest ...
