Artur Davis was a Democratic congressman from Alabama who often undercut Dems and attacked working people in favor of big business. And He is an African American who was an early supporter of Presdient Obama, although his politics were always far to the right of Barack Obama's. Davis ran in Alabama in 2010 for Governor and lost in the primary.

In an interview, Davis said he believes there is little tolerance in Democratic politics for “center-right” views like his own.

He is a shill now to defeat the first African American President in our history, even though Obama broke barriers and who has governed from the center or center/left. Davis is joining a party that has used racism for years to win elections.
He can't win in Alabama, so he's moving to run in Virginia. I think Virginia voters will reject this asshat.
