Van Jones said this in his speech to Netroots Nation.
“He stands up for Trayvon; he stands up for gay marriage; we like him,” Jones said of Obama in the keynote speech of the evening. “But we’re not in love with him.”
“We went from having a crush to feeling crushed,” he added, as the convention hall — which at about 1,500 activists was about half-full compared with where it stood during Warren’s address on Friday — responded with cheers and applause.
I don't think it's necessary to fall back in (hope and change) love with the President, but We really need to bring it, step it up, just do it and get him re-elected.
“We have a quandary,” Jones said Saturday night. “We know we’re supposed to be fired up, and we know we’re supposed to be ready to go. But we’re pissed off! We’re mad. And we have reason to be. ... Somebody said, ‘I feel like I’m caught between Barack and a hard place.
Does anyone really believe that Mitt Romney fires up the GOP or if anyone other than his wife and children really love him? Maybe some women in prison have crushes on MItt, and Mitt has a serious sickening love for anyone that has GOP super pac money and he will say anything for it. He wants the presidency so bad that his sons are willing to give up their dreams of going into the military, just so they can be his Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines, but especially the Navy Seals.
Sacrifices.
We have to be fired up about this election or we will have a Romney presidency. Liberal-Progressives have to stop the madness over their loss love for Obama and whatever he did or did not do and imagine the hate that they would feel if Romney, Mitt Romney, became president(WTF).
Are we really caught between a Barack and a hard place or would we rather be between Mitt and a lost race! Love Obama, Like Obama, Tolerate Obama, but vote for Obama. If we sit back on this election then Mitt Romney won't even have to buy the presidency because we will give it to him.
