I hate to ask for anything from this wonderful community, but I am hoping you might be able to help.

My son's fiancé is graduating from boot camp in fort leonard wood MO on July 3rd an d we just found out that her Mom may not be able to make the graduation.  My son cannot attend as his leave (he is in the Marines) does not start until late Monday night, there is no way that he can get there in time for the graduation.

What I am looking for are frequent flyer miles for the Mom, she has to get from San Jose to St. loius and back to San Jose (ideally she needs to be at Ft. Leonard Wood by Sunday, July 1st, as family day is Monday, the graduation is Tuesday). She can fly back to San Jose on Tuesday after the graduation.

The mom was going to drive with her other children but she can't drive now.  My son's fiancé was sobbing tonight because she is going to graduate from MP boot camp and no family member or friend will be there for her.

I also am looking for transportation from st. Loius to ft. Leonardwood and back to ft. Leonardwood for the Mom.  The Mom is very uneasy about renting a car and driving the two hours from St. Loius to ft. Leonardwood.

We are just not in the financial position to buy her the plane ticket, or I would have done that.  Any help you can give, even some ideas on how to get her there are greatly appreciated.

Thanks again, and I realize this isn't an emergency, but this community always seems to have the means to figure out how to fix things when they go wrong.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
