Every now and then, we need to laugh.
You wouldn't think that economics is funny. But there's this one young man, Yoram Bauman, who promotes himself as a stand-up economist. I discovered him on YouTube today, and I enjoyed myself so much that even after the crappy day I had, I found myself laughing myself into tears at his jokes.
Therefore, I would just like to let you all discover him as well. Below the fleur-de-Kos is a sampling of his stand-up comedy... I mean, his stand-up economics. And boy is it worth it.
Have a seat. Get a drink. The house lights are going down....

And finally, they managed to get the American Economics Association to sponsor a humor section in 2009:
No matter what your profession, if you are on this site, you are informed enough to find his work funny. I strongly recommend him to you (laughter is, after all, the best medicine).
