Voter's remorse, anyone?  I would think so.

Cross posted on Texas Kaos.

In 2010 John Boehner and the Republican Party ran on a jobs and economy platform.  And yet since the GOP, which was swept into office in the U.S. Congress in 2010, has yet to present a viable jobs bill to the American people. Newly elected Republican Governors also promised jobs but once elected they tore into unions and collective bargaining rights.

Where are the jobs you promised in 2010 John Boehner?

Instead the Party has embarked on an agenda that has been a brutal assault on women's and voter's rights.  The Republican Party has passed legislation, in overwhelming numbers, to regulate women's vaginas and those which makes voting more difficult for large segments of society.  These segments include college students, poor minorities and the elderly who do not have driver's licenses.  It also includes people who move around a lot, such as active members of the military.

None of this right wing ideology, dating back 50 years where women are concerned, has created one single job.  Indeed, we have learned over the passed ten years that the GOP beloved trickle down economics has not worked for thirty years.  And yet the GOP clings like drug addicts to this far reaching and colossal economic policy failure.

But don't tell that to the Republicans in Washington D.C.  They are too busy conducting a despicable witch hunt against Attorney General Eric Holder over a program called Fast and Furious. Which, by the way is a ginned up right wing conspiracy theory promoted by the NRA.

Where are the jobs you promised in 2010 John Boehner?

Most voters don't care about a gun running program  between the U.S. and Mexico that was started by the G.W. Bush Administration. And this same group of craven Republican hypocrites who are screaming about the death of a federal drug agent had absolutely no qualms with rubber stamping W.'s unnecessary war in Iraq in which hundreds of thousands of people have been killed or maimed.  Not to mention the $3 trillion treasury suck from an unfunded ginned up war. Never mind that the craven also plugged their ears in 2006 when then Vice President Dick Cheney said.

Deficits don't matter.
We the wee ones are more interested in knowing why the Republican Party is fixated on cutting programs for the poor while giving billions of dollars in taxpayer subsidies to billionaire banksters like J.P. Morgan Chase.  Can someone please tell me why billionaire banksters need more money and poor folks need less?

Where are the jobs you promised in 2010, John Boehner?

As we should all know by now tax cuts for the rich do not create jobs.  The rich are using their added wealth to buy elections instead of providing jobs.

Yes, indeed. The Republican Party has devolved into a party of 14 year old middle school boys who think girls are icky. It is a sad state affairs in this country when comedians give us a reality check on the state of Republican politics in the U.S.

Where are the jobs you promised in 2010, John Boehner?

Worse, the chosen leader of the GOP, Mitt Romney has no plan to create jobs either.

Mitt likes to keep the company of convicted racketeers who lose jobs for everyday folks.  Mitt and his buddies make out like bandits, lining their pockets w/millions after throwing people out of work.

This is what Republicans do.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
