11. Continuing if not expanding power of Saudi Arabia due to demand for oil.

17. Frenemy Pakistan migrating toward true enemy status.

84. Corruption - both economic and religious - of US military via revolving-door relationships with contractors and radical fundamentalist infiltration of military academies.
85. Failure of GOP Congress to adequately fund commercial human spaceflight initiatives.

87. Police departments failing to record crimes or recording crimes improperly in order to "juke" the stats.
88. Partisan / corrupt / ideological judges appointed by George W. Bush corrupting the judicial process and rendering lawless decisions to serve the Republican Party.
89. Wall Street laundering money for criminal organizations with impunity.
90. Hostile foreign governments funding the GOP with impunity via Citizens United.
91. Violent Mexican drug cartels incentivized by US policy.
92. Unscientific and mendacious policy of condemning and vigorously pursuing marijuana as a "highly dangerous" and "addictive" substance.
93. Continuing failure to provide marriage equality to gay couples.
94. Ongoing legacy of deregulation in numerous industries permitting extreme corruption and criminality.
95. Rich people still have a much better chance of being acquitted of criminal charges than poor people, and white people compared to black people, and the former face significantly more lenient sentences.
96. Products from China are unsafe.
97. People work harder and longer for less pay and fewer benefits.
98. Shrinking middle-class.
99. Shift of tax burden from the wealthy to everyone else.
And things are still a lot better than I thought they'd be in 2005.
