Of all the contributors who appear on MSNBC the one who I'm most impressed with is Democratic strategist Julian Epstein.
Pretty much every single time I've seen him he's done his homework and makes the most valid points against Romney and the GOP. He's smart and fearless in his analysis of the news.
For example, when a reporter from a conservative website rudely interrupted President Obama's announcement during a recent news conference, it prompted this response from Epstein on TV: "Would the right wing be doing this if we had a white president there? ... We've never had a president heckled so disrespectfully. We've never had this otherness afforded to any other president. And I think the right wing is going to have some explaining to do, because to me, it seems patently obvious."
Espstein routinely cuts to the chase like that...often exposing the GOP for what it truly is in the process. Of course, those on the right mercilessly tried to crucify him for saying a white president wouldn't have been heckled like that, but to me, their attacks only proved he was right.
The next time they have a hosting vacancy I hope MSNBC considers Epstein. He's really sharp and doesn't mind going for the jugular.
