The Malleus Maleficaruma is a guidebook for Inquisitors during the Inquisition, this guidebook was a tool in the identification, prosecution, and dispatching of
Witches during the Middle Ages.
"Anyone who did not fit within the contemporary view of pious Christians were suspect, and easily branded "Witch". Usually to devastating effect."
People who disagreed with the Catholic Church were subject to arrested. Scientists, Writers, Jews, and Gypsies were among the persecuted and prosecuted.
"At the height of its popularity, The Malleus Maleficarum was surpassed in public notoriety only by The Bible. Its effects were even felt in the New World,
where the last gasp of the Inquisition was felt in the English settlements in America (most notably in Salem, Massachusetts during the Salem Witch Trials)."
Are we starting witch-hunt's again? Michele Bachmann seems to be. Her unfounded accusations against Huma Abedin who is an aide to Secretary Clinton and married to the former congressman from New York Rep. Anthony Weiner. Bachman accuses Abedin of being tied to the Muslim Brotherhood movement. She also wants the Presidents Administration to be investigated for possible infiltration of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Even John McCain on the floor of the Senate has rebuked Bachmann. (WOW) from the man who brought us Sarah Palin!
Bachmann also believes that members of congress should be investigated for being Un-American.

Allen West believes that there are about 80 member of the Democrat party in congress are Communist. I didn't hear any Republican rebuking This comment. But, maybe I missed it, nah.
Bachmann, Allen West and others from far right want to take us back to the days of McCarthy, Witch Hunts, Robber Barons, and Jim Crow.
Perhaps Bachmann would like a copy of The Malleus Maleficaruma! But, I imagine she already has one!
