According to WBZ-TV News in Boston,, a Maine man admits he took an assault weapon, concealed in his backpack, to watch the Batman move on Saturday.
When he was pulled over on Sunday for speeding (112 mph), 49-year-old Timothy Courtois told police he was on his way to shoot a former employer. Police found what they describe as "an arsenal" of weapons in his car, including an AK-47 assault rifle, four handguns and several boxes of ammunition, and in his apartment. He also had newspaper clippings of the Aurora massacre.

Neighbors describe Courtois as a "loner."
The theater where he watched the movie has now banned backpacks.
I'm stunned by this insanity. I suppose banning backpacks may be a step in protecting theatergoers, but the problem is far deeper than that.
