Here is a great diary about who creates what from whom. I would like to expand on this diary, one which draws on the well of Deuteronomy.
I live a great part of my year on an island in a harbor. Fresh water is exceedingly precious, and we are "blessed" to have a great deal of it. Artesian wells, drilled deeply, and whether or not you care to believe in this or not, all of them dowsed by the same man with a divining rod.
Here we are on our little island, and increasingly, we have people with lots of means. They want lawns. They want large homes. They want water, because they want to water their lawns, on an island, in a salt-water harbor in Maine. They don't care if the wells go dry. They want their non-native grass and plants to look good. They don't care.
We very nearly had conservation land. We don't. "We need water for our lawns".
Many of these rich folks, they'll vote for Obama, and at the same time, destroy wetlands and freshwater on an island off the coast of Maine.
Who needs this kind of avarice? This kind of selfishness?
Mitt. He depends on it.
