A specific, targeted threat at San Antonio airport shut flights down at 2:00 pm Central Time. As of this writing, police and dogs are still actively searching airport structures for explosives.
And yet as of 5:25 Central Time - 3 and a half hours later - CNN's lead story is about the lines at Chik-fil-A, with the rest of the front page devoted to the usual claptrap. No mention of the incident at all. I had to learn about what's up with my own country's airports from from BBC News online (http://www.bbc.co.uk/...).
The BBC story even references information given to CNN by the FAA:
The incident was brought to officials' attention at about 14:00, and has affected about 10 to 15 flights and about 1,000 passengers, airport spokesman Rich Johnson told CNN.
CNN...WTF?
EDIT, 6:40 PM EST: No bomb found. That's probably CNN's defense - they knew it all along.
