The ad Allen West is complaining about
Allen West may be known for saying offensive things at seemingly every possible opportunity, but that doesn't mean he can't whine with the best of them, and he's pretty convinced that this ad placed against him is racist.
“Where is the outrage from Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and the NAACP about this?” West said on Fox News’ “Fox and Friends.” “They’re not going to say anything because they’re nothing but an effective wing of the Democrat [sic] party and they have effectively kept them well laced so they can continue to make sure that they have a black electorate voting bloc.”
Goal Thermometer

Hmm. Not seeing it, myself. I suppose it's possible that this is symptom of a deep-seated conspiracy against him on the part of Jesse Jackson and all other black Americans, but it's at least equally possible that this is a fairly standard (though effective) campaign ad, and it gives Allen West a sad face only because this one happens to be directed against him.

Allen West is nothing if not creative in his conspiracy theories, however. In the last eight months or so he has compared Democrats to Nazis, claimed that there were 80 members of the Communist Party in Congress, said that preventing student loan interest increases was something out of the Communist Manifesto, and said that Obama wants Americans to be his slaves. So now this is the thing that pisses him off?

West is running against Democratic challenger Patrick Murphy this time around. Please donate $3 to Patrick Murphy on ActBlue.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
