You may recall the NY-26 special election, where Kathy Horchul defeated Jane Corwin.
In that election, Horchul came from behind by making an issue of Medicare.
In this diary, I made some assumptions, looked at some polling numbers, and guesstimated with wagitude that it was worth 7% of the vote in NY-26 to make an issue of Medicare.
To be precise: Horchul + 3.6%, Corwin - 3.6%.
Again, assumptions made and therefore not definitive.
However - good enough. Tie the Ryan budget around every Republican in the country. Even if you only get D+2, R-2, that will swing several Congressional districts and a couple of purple states, and perhaps a close Senate race or two.
This issue is a proven winner, and Romney just served it to us on a silver platter so large it requires a car elevator to lift it.
Attack, Team Democratic! Show no mercy for none will be shown - to you, to the middle class, or to America's future.
