More Tagging tips:
A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?
Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.
If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office.
CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.
Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.
Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary:
Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House.
If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state
Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries
that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

that gun massacres are so common that we even need advice on what to do when mass shooting breaks out. What a fucking sick society, propelled to even greater heights of violence and depravity by the sociopaths at the NRA.

I checked a few other major news sources, there are no details on any of them, but one said that police officers were among the casualties.
I wonder what regulated militia this shooter belongs to.
P.S. I am not a crackpot.

who allegedly protect against this sort of thing in the absence of gun control?
Republicans would rather live in shit than be seen working a shovel.

or it might not, but even if it did it isn't binding on the town surrounding it where the shootings occurred. Where was Wyatt Derp and his posse a-ridin' out to "regulate"?

a mass shooting with the gunman targeting strangers... more likely something between law enforcement and the perpetrator, which happened at the perpetrator's home.

That means armed police were already present when the shooting started, and still two people, not including the gunman, were shot. Not exactly a ringing endorsement of the law & order-enhancing effects of gun anarchy.
by Troubadour on Mon Aug 13, 2012 at 01:08:45 PM PDT
The murdered officer was a county constable serving an eviction notice to the shooter.
The shooter killed the constable, and the city police arrived in response to an emergency call about shots fired in the neighborhood. They were fired upon, and returned fire, and fatally shot the malfeasant.
A male bystander was also killed during the exchange, and four persons were injured.

are SUCH a good mix, right? Add in frustration in the women department and you're asking for killing galore.
Florida State Lambda Chi shootings, for example.
