Tonight's diary features a rare poll - admittedly on the silly side but a poll nevertheless! :D Those of you who've been around here long enough know just how "fun" this time of year is for me in my line of work; only the end of the year is worse. So, I'm going to let y'all determine the soundtrack for my life for the next couple of weeks.

So, here are the choices.

"Flight of the Bumblebee"

"They're Coming to Take Me Away"

or Queen's "I'm Going Slightly Mad"

No pesky voter ID laws here so vote early & often. ;D AND, since no "this day in history" items peak my interest, we're going right to SPARK! I've never eaten this stuff, and you could not pay me enough to do so, but I will toss the stuff. So, do these lovely ladies produce chocolate milk? I bet this guy will never be one of those "little old man" drivers! :D Finally, these varmints need to remember "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas." ;D

On with The Rachel Maddow Show!

"The Men Who Stare at Zygotes" - Gee, I simply cannot imagine what the subject matter of this segment will be. Boys & girls, there is a long long LONG history in the MENSA party of "interesting" theories about pregnancies as a result of rape. Rep. Legit Rape is just the latest in a long line of folk birthed either in a rotten cabbage patch or via a pi$$ed off stork. AUGH! I really DID NOT need to see $aint $arah from Wasilla tonight, but she thinks just like the MENSA male folk on the subject of rape/abortion/etc. AND, she's probably grooming her daughters to think just the same way. Where does the whole "Every sperm is sacred" shtick come from? It's some movie, yes? If so, the MENSA party have seen that flick 1 - too many times. Rep. Legit Rape & Rep. Murder Medicare teamed up for a little bill that "redefined" the whole question of rape & abortions, too. What's Rep. Murder Medicare up to these days? Uh...gee...I'm trying to remember...OH YEA! He's the Mittwit's running mate! SO, Dems - if they play their political & electoral cards correctly - get to fight for Medicare & Mommy Parts & hopefully win in a LANDSLIDE of LBJ 1964/Saint Ronnie 1984 proportions. Today, Rep. Legit Rape is being sent to the woodshed by MENSA higher - ups who are really just pi$$ed more that this guy vocalized what they believe in their black heart of black hearts. Frank Rich is in studio for discussion of this lovely subject. Does Rep. Legit Rape HAVE daughters? I need to look that up. Mrs. You People Mittwit is heading out on the trail to spread some love among the women folk? Can I be a fly on the wall for that - especially if she tries to spread some love among women folk who didn't or don't have the "advantages" she does?! Oh, by the way Mrs. Mittwit, your hubby's running mate also co - sponsored legislation that would've made illegal some of your grandkids' existence. Just thought you should know...

"Too Legit to Quit" - Now, the big scuttle - butt & wagers involve how long it will take for Rep. Legit Rape to (a) quit Congress and/or (b) quit the Senate race. I've said already tonight in other venues, and I'll say again here; Rep. Legit Rape ain't goin' ANYWHERE. Him leaving would imply shame, and he has none. Senator Nude Cosmo, Senator Corn Hole Cornyn, and others are damn damn embarrassed he had the cojones to vocalize what they really think. Even TurdBlossom & the Toe Sucker are telling Rep. Legit Rape to pull out - literally. Yes, the Toe Sucker's petition is telling him to pull out; I kid you not. ;D A whole mess of people are publicizing the exact deadlines where Rep. Legit Rape needs to ...well... you know.

"Block Party" - Look at all those signatures in OH to repeal the union - busting law from Gov. Former FAUX News Employee, and, by golly, they did it - BIG time. :) But, OH shenanigans ain't over because some "lovely" folk wanted to expand early voting hours in primarily - MENSA counties but not in primarily - Dem counties. Ain't THAT a coincidence? *&^%$#@! OH has a Montgomery County, too? So does my fair state. :) A couple of guys on that county's election board could be sacked because - a silly idea, I know - they want everyone REGARDLESS OF PARTY to have equal access to early voting. Go figure, huh?

"The Interview" - Dennis Lieberman & Tom Ritchie, Sr. are the good men who are threatened to be sacked by the MENSA OH SOS. How dare they do their damn job! They're supposed to curl up in the fetal position & cower in fear like a whole mess of Dems do.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
