Ever wonder why a senior citizen would support Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan after they've promised to end Medicare as we know it and replace it with a voucher system?
Well, watch the following, and find out!
Here's a transcript for those without video:
ANNOUNCER: The following is a message from a concerned senior citizen.
ELDERLY WOMAN: Barack Obama claims that the Romney-Ryan budget would end Medicare as we know it and replace it with a voucher system that will cost future senior citizens close to $6,000 more a year.
As a senior citizen you know what I say? Good! As long as I got mine!
See, it only effects those currently under 55. So, what do I care?
I don't care if my children get Medicare! They put me in a nursing home and they never come to visit me!
What do I care if they can or can't see a doctor? To me, my children are already dead!
I HAVE NO SON!!!
Also, my grandchildren are a bunch of brats who track mud everywhere and broke my ceramic hippo collection. Screw em! Let those entitled millennials fend for themselves!
I'm a senior citizen who's perfectly happy that future generations are worse off than me... and I'm voting for Mitt Romney.
MITT ROMNEY: I'm Mitt Romney, and I approve this message.
