Romney keeps showing us what he actually is, an insensitive selfish greedy monster that has, and will continue to destroy jobs in his insatiable quest for easy  profits ( it's harder to build a company that will survive, than to wreck one and sell off the assets)!  He would create an  economy that only the 1% can survive in.
I created a short animated cartoon with Skitzo studios, it's about Mitt Romney and Bain Capital, I call it " Caman Island Mitt", here's the link

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

If anybody 'pioneered' offshoring (and it'f offshoring not 'outsourcing') it was Bill Clinton when he signed Most Favored Nation with China, or it was Bill Clinton when he signed NAFTA, or it was the six Democratic Senators who made sure that CAFTA was passed, or it was Barack Obama when he voted for the Peru 'free trade' agreement, or it was Barack Obama when he signed so-called 'free trade' agreements with Panama, Colombia, and South Korea.

    •  Bain’s foray into outsourcing began in 1993 (0+ / 0-)

Bain’s foray into outsourcing began in (1993 ) when the private equity firm took a stake in Corporate Software Inc., May 27, 1994 – Clinton Grants China MFN.
or CSI, after helping to finance a $93 million buyout of the firm. CSI, which catered to technology companies like Microsoft, provided a range of services including outsourcing of customer support. Initially, CSI employed U.S. workers to provide these services but by the mid-1990s was setting up call centers outside the country.

        This is Sen Frank Lautenberg.

Before he was a U.S. Senator Frank Lautenberg was the CEO of Automatic Data Processing. Automatic Data Processing is a payroll and HR outsourcing company. If really feel strongly about it I think I can find the exact year that ADP started offshoring work. I'm pretty confident it was before 1993.

The question really is, which political party put the policies in place which allowed Mitt Romney to offshore jobs?

        •  1993 policies would have been set by Bush Senior.. (0+ / 0-)

1993 policies would have been set by Bush Senior,  Clinton Grants China MFN. May 27, 1994.  Nafta wasn't signed into law until December 0f 1993.  Bain’s foray into outsourcing began in 1993, yes, but a take over of a company could hardly begin and take place in the final days of December.
Romney's venture capital firm "owned companies that were pioneers in the practice of shipping work from the United States to overseas call centers and factories making computer components."

In other words, Bain Capital wasn't just investing in companies that shipped jobs overseas themselves, Bain owned companies that were trailblazing the practice of outsourcing American jobs to low-wage companies like China and India.
Besides, who cares about Clinton, he's not running for president, Mitt Romney is, and his business practices, which he cites, show us what kind of president he would be.

          •  Bush the 1st passed the tax break for offshoring (0+ / 0-)

manufacturing and other work. Labors request for a repeal of this was ignored by Clinton.

Clinton's passage of nafta, China's trade status, and whoring for the davos gangsters dug the American middle class's grave.

The plan our davos masters have is to reduce all wages and social spending all over their world. Europe and America's  wages meet China's and the 3rd world. The davos crowd is now saying this out loud. They get what they want.

What Reagan and Thatcher started, Clinton and Blair finished. Obama appears to be on board as well.
