I came back from a weekend out of town to find one of our Yucca trees blooming. These are not the moderately sized plant of the U.S. desert southwest, but tree forms from somewhere in central or south america.
They normally bloom around Christmas time, though at least for several years now, a few have bloomed as early as Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is 3 months away.
