 A message to ALL quitters.  You don't have to avoid GUS if you have a failed quit.  We won't give you a bad time and we consider the failed quits as "practice" for the real quit.
Good morning achy joints, muscles and bones.  I have been told that pain is not a normal process of aging.  But it something we all have to deal with from time to time.  Know what makes the body feel better?  Exercise, (yoga is great), water, stretching, breathing.  
I like to think that everyone here sits up a little straighter and does some stretching while they're here.  We dont have to be honest about it.  If you don't, it's ok.  But I encourage you to try these things to make you feel less pain.

Start with sitting up straight, lower your shoulders, lift your chin, stretch your neck.  I'm sure there's something that doesn't feel 100%.  Roll your neck slowly.  Then roll in the opposite direction.  You know this feels good, Do it a little more.

Move to the shoulders.  Bring them high up to your ears and hold.  Then lower them.  Repeat.

Twist your torso, with your hands on your hips.  Or use your hand on the back of your chair back to help you twist.  Do it gently, then repeat to get a better twist.

Stretch your legs, bend and flex your knees, roll your ankles, point your toes.  Flex your toes by pointing them up and back.  Try to touch your toes by standing up, bending over.  Then raise your hands to the ceiling and slowly bend over and touch your toes again.  Do you see how much farther you get on the second time?  Try it a third time.  

There are so many little things you can do for you body to take those pains away.  My stretching in the morning helps me feel better.  I wake up a little more quicker too.

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.
