Humorous comments from liberal sites and a play-by-play from Wonkette.

Mitt Will 'Lift Up America And Underneath You'll Find Tax Records Buried Deep In The Earth!'
Are there many American women who may be looking to vote for a candidate posed to destroy their reproductive rights... based on a few well studied words by their wife?
Mittens will lift up America, shake it, grab whatever falls out of its pockets, and send that money to The Cayman Islands so he doesn't have to pay taxes on it.
Mrs. Romney, you have been blessed with a handsome and successful husband. My hope for you is that you keep him all to yourself for many years to come.
Well, did all of "you people" enjoy Ann's little speech??
That clock doesn't show the debt, it shows  Mitt's Foreign Investments .....
Mitt Will 'Lift Up America?????? Yeah, he'll lift us onto the roof of 1 of their cadillacs and drive 100 mph straight into the abyss...
I give her a little credit. At least she didn't refer to us as "you people" tonight. So there's that.
Ann states that she "Hear Our Voices". Perhaps, either she is wearing ear muffs, needs an ear flush or just ignoring us, because we are still echoing, "SHOW US YOUR TAXES" and they continue respond: Nah, Nah, NahNah, Nerrr.'
I know, I thought she would scream "It's our turn" any moment. My gosh she was so uplifting..
Funny how she didn't mention RomneyCare as one of her husband's accomplishments. It has been a success, making Massachusetts one of the healthiest states in the union. That's quite an achievement, mandate and all. Why do they want to walk away from that? Aren't they proud of it?
Her MS seems healed because they can afford medical care. Something they will deny to everyone else if they ever get to the WH.
And, if I actually watch the GOP convention, who will help pay for the years of therapy I will need afterwards?
If I watch Ann’s speech I fear I will die of insincerity poisoning.
I can't wait. Did you know that Ann Romney had MS AND breast cancer? I bet she'll avoid talking about that, because it would be weird to use your medical history to try to get your husband elected as president with the promise that he'd take health care away from poor people.
Yes, there are people who think more about the future of their children and their grandchildren than their own political careers - they are called liberals.
And then there's Wonkette's version:
Ann, Ann, she’s our Ann, if she can’t do it, Ann Ann Ann! Hurry up so the fat guy can talk, please.
10:12 — Ann thanks the first responders from ____.
10:13 — “I want to talk to you from my heart, about… our hearts.” “Tonight, I want to talk to you about love” STARBURSTS!
10:15 — Good time to note that Ann Romney has never worked a day in her life.
10:16 — “I love you WOOOOMMMMEEEEENNN!” Has she been stealing painkillers from Cindy McCain’s charity like Cindy McCain used to do?
10:18 —  “Young girls in audience: ‘I’m gonna be a mommy! Yay!’”
10:19 — “I am the granddaughter of a Welsh coal miner.” Ann Romney’s had it tough.
10:21 — “We got married and moved into a basement apartment.” WOOOO!
10:22 — “Well, that was 42 years ago and I’ve survived.” Really should’ve started and ended the story with that.
10:23 — “What Mitt and I have is a real marriage.” The crowd is going nuts for that dumb line… because it’s not a Gay Marriage?
10:25 — Your Wonkette, for one, would like to hear more about this “being poor at 22″ concept. What is that kind of obscure poverty like? (Also, you weren’t.)
10:26 — Ann was there in those trying early days when Mitt Romney, son of the Governor of Michigan, had just gotten his MBA and JD degrees from Harvard and was “starting out.”
10:30 — This speech sucks!
10:30 — Mitt “brought me home from that dance.” Whose house?
10:32 — Mittens in on stage! Are those Mittbot… tears? Thank god the gofer remembered to get those at the CVS.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
