The election for President is just a few weeks away. Can we turn off enough Tea Partiers from the Republican ticket to manage a Democratic sweep? Maybe. Read below for an idea I would love to see implemented.
Folks-
We have an election right around the corner, and it's going to be a nail-biter.
The Repugnicans know that a persons greatest strength can be their greatest weakness as well. Attack the strength, then what's left?
Not a bad strategy. Being a Democrat, what Rethuglican strength do I think we should be aiming at? How about the Tea Partiers? They consider them vital. If we can turn them off, what do they have left?
So, how do we turn them off of this election? One thing Tea Partiers can't stand is a flip-flopper. They consider anyone that changes their mind on a subject "unprincipled," regardless of why.
So what am I suggesting? How about we set up an unaffiliated Super-PAC to run a series of ads on TV, radio, or on billboards that ask "Which Romney are you voting for?" and highlight one of his flip-flops on a topic the Tea Partiers find important.
Here's an example: "Which Romney are you voting for? The Pro-Choice Romney, or the Pro-Life Romney?" The second option should always be the option the Tea Partiers find unpalatable, and at the bottom of the ad should be a link to a website explaining that his position has changed.
The idea of the campaign is that Romney will say anything in order to be elected.
Conservative voter apathy is our friend. We should be using it to our advantage.
