Well the right, either doesn't understand what Eastwooding and all the empty chair humor is about
The huge cultural divide is reflected in the photo above contrasted with this NY Daily News article and photo about “Eastwooding” by New Yorkers who think the joke was on Eastwoodor they are trying to make lemonade out of an empty chair

In another sign that Clint Eastwood's RNC talk to an empty chair has tapped in to broadly held opinions that President Obama is not getting the job done, word spread rapidly over the weekend among conservative new media outlets that an impromptu "National Empty Chair Day" is being planned for Monday. It took a while for them to get Stephen Cobert, and some may not still.
September 3 [LABOR DAY] is the right wing "empty chair day."
But really we think the joke is on Eastwood? With images like this as part of the meme, we think the joke is on Eastwood?
1. The Obama campaign reacted to Eastwood with a Tweet.Yes we really fear this:
New Yorkers deride Eastwood and ignore the content of what he said.
The Left always telegraphs what they fear. Always.
2. I hope the Romney campaign is realizing they’ve been handed a gift. I hope they don’t throw it away just because they didn’t script it.

It now appears quite likely that the DNC will open on Monday with images of empty chairs dominating Facebook, Twitter, and the internet. Once again conservative new media outlets have framed the narrative that continues to get away from the Obama 2012 campaign team.Because like, Facebook, Twitter, and the internet haven't already been awash in them since Thursday night (it must be nice to invent your own reality)
they just don't get it
