Dear Mrs. Romney,
I just wanted to drop a note to you and ask a few questions.
We have some really wonderful women in the world. You said, "I really love women". Well some of we women want to know a little about you.
There are many great historical women from Eleanor Roosevelt, Mother Teresea, Princess Diana, right on down to Liz Taylor. Tell the young women in America what have you accomplished in the way of humanitarian acts that
when people hear your name, will immediately say, "I want to be just like her". Mrs. Romney, this is a legacy question to ask yourself. What have you done to make women proud they are women, rich or poor, white or black, sick or well. Have you done anything in the name of humanity and I won't count your church, because not all those deserving are mormon or believers of any sort. Have you led a fight for the elimination of world hunger or the fight against aids.or been a fighter for
grandparents rights, or senior abuse? How about the fight of dismantling land mines? What is your passion for civil service.
Motherhood is wonderful, being a mother myself but most women can juggle business, work, parenting, soccer games, homemaker, chauffer,
referee and dazzling lover in the bed, even at age of 60. Can you even
begin to identify with these simple , everyday, expectations of women without the extra work of veteran rights or advocacy of some sort for some cause that appeal to the masses ?
If you have contributed to your fellow man, why did you not talk about anything but having babies, maids and associates at your convention. We know nothing about you really and the time you have spent on planet earth . You have many gifts I am sure but what are they? What have you done to inspire women? Are you a spokesperson for MS? Do you advocate against the death penalty? What do you do?
The challenges are great as a president's wife and those challenges include more than praising your husband and counting maids and silverware. I know you were a governor's wife. Tell me about that?
Did you care about the women of Massachussetts and speak to them on personal levels?
The truth is Mrs. Romney, you are a pretty woman and well spoken but
I never heard of you before your husband actually got the nomination.
I doubt we will hear of your again unless it is some huge tour of the Rich and Famous tour of homes.
Why should any young woman even want to vote for a woman who walks a few steps behind her husband and spends her days as a bored socialite? You have all boys. Have you given much thought of raising children in general? As the parent and grandparent, I assure you I rather my girls look up to someone like Michelle Obama, rather than the world of the richest elite jet setter and self indulgent person such as you appear to be. I really cannot say these things about you for certain , it is just your snobby air of entitlement that you carry yourself and you do not enlighten the inquiring minds of women everywhere.
Are you viewed as The Matriarch Mother or are the nannies the one who wins the love of your household? Are the people in your employed just endured as "The Help".
Do you really think you pass the First Lady of the United States smell test? No, it is not a french import from Paris. It is a role. It is an important role. It's not just a little country club for awhile. It actually is a role in history and I have no clue what you could possible contribute.
