at picking phrases and pounding them into people's (and sheep's) brains. Even lies. Michael Grunwald, author of The New New Deal: The Hidden Story of Change in the Obama Era said while on the Colbert Report that (paraphrased) "fewer people believe the stimulus saved and created jobs than believe Elvis is still alive." That is thanks to the words "failed stimulus" repeated so many times by the Republicans that it was accepted as fact by many. Someone somewhere on here (sorry I can't find it again) said what I wish had been used by the Democrats for the last 4 years - "the Republican Recession". If we had done that and had the same effect as "failed stimulus" where would we be now? Would anything have been different in 2010? Oh if we could only do it retroactively...
