I saw another sign of pure WIN that speaks how we are winning.  It was right here on the Front Page of Daily Kos, but it was not a diary.

See below the jump for more.....

It was a paid advertisement on the front page on Daily Kos.

It was a congressional race advertisement for Republican Chip Cravaack in the Minnesota Eighth District. I looked up a little history for background.  The district has a CPVI of D+3, but Chip squeaked out a narrow 1.6& win over 18-term Rep. James Oberstar in 2010 in the Republican wave.  Oberstar had not received under 64 percent of the vote in any of his previous four elections.  So needless to say Chipper will have a tough time holding his seat.  (Gotta love Wikipedia)

Now it always seem dumb to me for someone to put paid ads for Republicans up on this site. It seems like a waste of money.  But as Kos has said before, if they want to waste it, he will happily accept it.  It seems like even more of a waste since I was seeing the ad in OHIO 500-600 miles away.  Not a very efficient use of his money if you ask me.  But hey, they have money to waste I guess.

But enough background.  What I loved to see is the simple text of the ad. "Help stop the Democratic Takeover of the House!"   I guess they must be worried about it, if they are using it to scare voters.

I know those of us DKReaders know the House is in play, but it is still nice to see them admit it, and know they are scared by it (or at least using it to scare, like they do so well. )

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
