There are now potentially four violent movements in countries which endanger the lives of American citizens. The countries are Yemen, Iraq, Libya and Egypt.
During this period Mitt Romney has implied that the commander in chief is a "disgrace." He propagated misinformation about the nature of the attack and the American response. He has failed in any way shape or form to call for American unity in the face of danger. He indirectly both supported and condemned a religious fanatic with a proven track record of inciting deadly violence.
The fact is Mitt Romney's continuing behavior is dangerous. It is not leadership. For a Presidential candidate to conduct himself in such a way is unfathomable. He is creating international incidents around a tweet sent by an unknown State Department employee who understood that a serious attack on an Embassy could be imminent. He is stoking the flames over whether this last ditch tweet(s) at restoring stability should have used a thesaurus and used what Mitt Romney feels were one or two more appropriate words. He is endangering American lives. There is no indication at any point that he is willing to say: America is under attack, we have one President, we support him, even if we disagree on some points. He has so far refused to support America. He has refused in the face of American deaths, in the face of potentially more deaths, in the face of a potentially escalating crisis. Holy crap.
