Breaking news of a vehicle parked near two Federal office buildings in Kansas City, now being searched for explosives. The vehicle's owner was arested inside one of the Federal buildings.
Kansas city bomb, federal building update: Dog detects explosives in self-proclaimed terrorist's car
The Fletcher Daniels State Office Building has been evacuated. Employees in the Richard Bolling Federal Building have moved to the north side of the complex. Children in the federal building have been evacuated to a pre-approved off-site location, according to authorities.
A number of streets and freeway ramps linking the closed area to Interstate 70 have also been closed to traffic.

Sources told The Star the man created a disturbance inside the Fletcher Daniels building at 615 E. 13th Street by yelling something to the effect of: “Why am I on the terrorist watch list?”
A police bomb sniffing dog “hit” on the man’s car, but the man told police he had only fertilizer in the trunk.
Earlier reports had inaccurately described the man arrested as a "self proclaimed terrorist".
