Netroots For The Troops® would not have had the success it's had without Bill in Portland Maine and his C & J'ers. From the very beginning Bill's support has been a critical factor in the fundraising efforts of Netroots For The Troops® aka NFTT. C & J'ers have over the past five years contributed more than $30,000.00 to Netroots For The Troops®. It was Bill's support and enthusiasm that encouraged the expansion of NFTT's initial effort of 130 Care Packages to attempting 300. Bill also thought we should increase those numbers to 600 for the third year.

Now it's time for Netroots For The Troops® to give back to Bill in Portland Maine and the C & J'ers. If you have supported NFTT in the past, Netroots For The Troops® is asking you to support one of our strongest supporters Bill in Portland Maine.

The video below is of Bill doing his "Happy Dance" in front of the Netroots For The Troops® booth in Pittsburgh.

Now is the time to express your appreciation to Bill, Micheal and all the C & J'ers for their support of Netroots For The Troops® and the many many other causes that Bill, and they lend their support. You can do that best by joining the many Kossack who make Bill the only community supported FP'er on Daily Kos.

A note from PoliSigh:

Special thanks to all of the Cheers and Jeers/Bill fans who took the time to write diaries for the blogathon! They are, in no particular order: spedwybabs, Cedwyn, Danno11, Energy Decisions, Debbie in ME, Brillig, AnotherMassachusettsLiberal, Patriot Daily News Clearinghouse, MsSpentyouth, Melanie in IA, mjbleo, Meteor Blades, moodyloner, navajo (and for her NEW DAY series), nhox42, blue jersey mom, Sara R, triciawyse, Nautical Knots, commonmass, VirgoMusic, and radical simplicity and thanks to vacationland for doing her GUS diary on Bill and last but never ever least--thanks to TexDem and the fabulous folks at Netroots for the Troops!

One of the things I learned in sales was never forget to ask for the sale. So one more time I'm asking you to make your contribution to support Bill for another year. Bill is part of the soul of this site. His humor and insight make us all smile with delight and knowing.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
