Hopefully, Mitt Romney making the case as to why half of Americans who pay no income tax, like himself, should jump off a cliff will gain a lot of traction. But it is no the first time he has said it.
In an interview with Soledad O'Brien, Romney argued that he wasn't concerned about poor people. They had a political party to represent them.
ROMNEY: The - the challenge right now - we will hear from the Democrat Party the plight of the poor, and - and there's no question, it's not good being poor and we have a safety net to help those that are very poor.
