Well I just spent the morning being a total "government supported 47%er today.  I went to my doctor and my bone specialist today using my "government supplied" wheel chair and used my "government supplied" Medicare account to get the news that my back and my hips have degenerated even more than the last time I had a xray and a MRI (supplied by the government of course).  Now I've got to take more pills (supplied by the government again via a drug program that allows me to pay only $4 per prescription) and another round of physical therapy which you know who is paying for THAT  PLUS 3 months of water therapy (thank you again Uncle Sam), some sort of new non-invasive new treatment ($$$$$ from my uncle again).   At the beginning of October I'll get another direct deposit from the government for a check from my SS retirement and an interest payment (TAXABLE) from my retirement income.  Come December 31st I'll be getting my tax work together which with no taxes to pay on my Social Security income (I paid taxes on that for nearly 40 years) but I'm pissed I will be paying taxes on that damned interest income as well as taxes on my small jewelry designing business AND on my husband's income which the IRS insists on taxing for some bizarre reason.

The only thing I have left to do today is take a nap on my bed (we bought that with some coins left over from the sale of our farm some years back which were NOT taxed because of that great little "sale of primary home" tax loophole.  I feel so cheated because later tonight Husband and I will have dinner that we PAID for without the government's help unless I use my retirement funds instead of my Husband's paycheck to buy that food.  Oh and we ate breakfast down at Joe's Diner where the place was full of farmers not farming today because it's raining cats and dogs here.

P.S. The farmers are pissed that Mitt Romney is calling them "victims" because they have parts of their acreage in government programs for soil conservation and can buy seeds under that program to replenish the soil and then plow the whole thing under  AND they even buy their farm equipment with some $$$$$$$$$$$ from the same uncle I have.

I'm telling you I'm just feeling so victimized that I'm trying to figure out a way to become 100% dependent on the government so I can feel even better about voting for Barack Obama again.

Maybe I'll order some jewelry supplies that I can WRITE OFF AS AN EXPENSE (thank you again Uncle Sam) against my jewelry income.  Damn I'm good at being a victim.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

Makes you wonder why the 1% calls the kettle black when THEY caused the 47%!
