I like many others am enjoying watching the wheels come off of the Romney campaign. There is no room for complacency though because we still don't know what the effect of Karl Rove's money may be. We can't let up. And they might yet find a way to put the wheels back on.
But we also have to focus on another issue. At least in my county which is a critical County on the national level (Hamilton-Cincinnati), one of the big problems we face is voters who vote the top of the ticket and stop there.
It is far too soon to be comfortable, but we also have to be cognizant of an enormous opportunity being handed to us on a golden platter.
VOTE THE WHOLE BALLOT.
Too often our Democratic voters don't. In Ohio the is especially true of Judges who run as as "non partisan" candidates meaning there is no Party ID next to their name on the ballot. The consequence? As much as a 35% falloff in votes in those races on our side while its only 5% on theirs. It's tough to win when that happens.
The game is shifting, We need to maximize our opportunity and that opportunity now is down ballot. This message needs to be spread far and wide
