Incumbent Congressional Candidate and former Republican Vice-Presidential Nominee, Paul Ryan, spent Tuesday failing to save the Romney Campaign by asking a rather stupid question as if he really cared.
I'd ask his constituents in Wisconsin's 1st Congressional District the same question about him... Are you better off than you were in 1998 when Paul Ryan took office?
What about the workers at the GM Assembly Plant in Ryan's hometown of Janesville? Are they all better off?
That the last vehicle rolled off the line on a gloomy late December day punctuated by snow and biting wind under a sodden gray sky seemed appropriate.
The world has known for months that this day was coming. That did little to deflect the gut-punch it delivered.
Ryan's Congressional record has been one of
epic failure with only
two bills passed in 14 years. His campaign rhetoric has been proven to be
outright lies. Does
anyone really think they'd be better off with Ryan's
"premium support" instead of Medicare as we know it?
If the citizen's of WI-01 want to be better off, they'll support Democrat Rob Zerban to defeat Ryan on November 6th. Rob Zerban has an uphill climb.
The Ryan campaign just dropped $2 Milllion on a TV ad buy, but refuses to debate his opponent. The Zerban Campaign is making the most of it's limited resources:
Rob Zerban signs are in!!!
The campaign has the regular signs, 2x4s and 4x8s for main highways. All signs are free and need to go up ASAP, the campaign is lacking name recognition and this is a great way to combat that.

6:59 AM PT: About those former Janesville GM Plant workers...
Mr. Ryan likes to remind us that we are his employer. Doing an adequate job responding to constituents’ individual needs is the minimum requirement of the job; but let’s also look at what Mr. Ryan has been doing the last 14 years in Congress as our alleged representative.
Eight of those years, Ryan walked lock step with the agenda of former President Bush where the rich got richer and the rest of us poorer. Ryan voted AGAINST the minimum wage increase; stem cell research; ethics reform; lowering the cost of student loans; union organizing; troop withdrawal from Iraq; and lower prescription drug prices! Ryan advocates privatizing Social Security and diminishing Medicare to a more costly voucher program.
