I was watching the video of the infamous Romney Fundraiser, when I thought I heard enough information to possibly identify one of the guests. Don't know if anyone has highlighted this, so I thought I'd toss it out there for peer review...
Around the 27:00 mark on the video, a woman can be heard describing (to Romney) a conversation she had with Geroge HW Bush - she was talking to him about Bill Clinton, whom she mentions briefly by his last name. At about the 27:55 mark, the woman says that at the time of the conversation with Bush, she was running as a Senate candidate in the State of Massachussetts.
G.H.W. Bush was president from 1988-1992, and there was only one Senate race in Mass where a women ran. In fact, it was to TWO women running against Ted Kennedy in 1988 - Mary Fridley for the New Alliance Party, and Freda Lee Nason for the Libertarians. If it was Nason, it makes you wonder if all the individuals at the fundraiser were Libertarians...
I'll be combing the video for more, but has anyone come forward and admitted they were there? (Oh, and many thanks to Mother Jones and the brave, mysterious videographer! My bet is on the woman server in the stylish glasses...)
