No I am not scared because I am worried Mitt will win. Aside from the fact that I do not agree with Mitt on anything he may be the worst candidate from either party in modern history.
He will go down in flames and hopefully by an historic margin
Maybe by some miracle it will translate to a down ticket landslide and the Dems will control the House, Senate and White House.
So drop below the squiggle to see why I am scared
At this stage I am scared because while I think the Dems and the current administration will prevail, which is what I want, I fear that they do not know how to use the power once they get it.
Dems and I believe this administration tend to campaign as Democrats but govern as Republican light. This has been going on for decades and as a liberal I am sick of it, grow a pair.
While I personally like the president and believe him to be a very bright and wonderful person I think his achilles heel is that he avoids confrontation and is desperate to be seen as a bi-partisan president.
So after historic losses when we should be going to the Republicans and saying basically,
"This is what we are doing if you would like to help us govern with true intent then join us at the table, otherwise get the hell out of the way before we run you over".
Instead I believe the Republicans will go to the president and say something like:
"If you don't do these 10 things and give us these other 10 things then we will give you support on 1 or 2 things you want and Obama will take the deal.
I look to be proven wrong but unfortunately history does not bode well as a forecaster
