A new report out today by The Century Foundation and the Economic Policy Institute - written by TCF/EPI Fellow Andrew Fieldhouse and co-author Josh Bivens - finds Romney's budget plans could cost millions of jobs.
Obama's plan, would create 1.3 million.
The Fieldhouse/Bivens report looked at the jobs outlook for the budget plans of President Obama and Mitt Romney and found:
Obama's budget plans, "would lead to increased employment of about 1.1 million jobs in 2013 and 280,000 jobs in 2014..."
But
Romney's plan would, "lead to small job gains of 87,000 in 2013 and a loss of 641,000 jobs in 2014." They also found that the Romney plan could also lead to "employment losses of 608,000 in 2013 and roughly 1.3 million in 2014."
